Metál 2006-os születésű, 70 cm marmagaságú, gyönyörű kiállású, ivartalanított keverék fiú kutya, talán szetter és kaukázusi keveréke lehet.
Nevét onnan kapta, hogy három puli társával – akiket gazdájuk azóta eltüntetett, mert tartási körülményeik miatt a helyi jegyző is el akart már járni a gazdákkal szemben -, egy vastelepet őrzött. Metált és társait a gondos gazda láncra kötve januárban magára hagyta, a szomszédos lakótelepről jártak át őket etetni. Ez így ment augusztusig (!), mikoris végre számtalan panasz után a hivatal lépett Szerencséjére Metál még ez előtt elszabadult, így rendőri és illatosi segédlettel már legálisan befogatható volt, és elkerülte társai valószínűleg szomorú sorsát – őket ugyanis a kobzás napja előtt a „gazda” vitte el valahová. Metál legalább hozzánk kerülhetett.
Erős testalkatú kutya. Idegenekkel kezdetben nagyon bizalmatlan, nem barátkozik. A területét nagyon őrzi, idegeneknek belépni tilos! ( eddig ez volt a feladata ). Furcsa neki még megtanulni, hogy az ember nem csak kínozhatja és megfélemlíteni akarja, hanem szeretni is tudja, játszani vele, megbízható, és élelmet ad, mégpedig nemcsak ma, holnap is. Akivel már összebarátkozik, vagyis gazdának elfogadja, az viszont kenyérre kenheti. Nyalakodós, bújós, ugra-bugráló, játékos. Másik kutyákat nem bántja, de inkább egyedüli kutyának ajánljuk, aki a gazdáért képes mindenért. Szó szerint a poklot járta meg előző helyén, így ismeri és a nálunk tapasztaltak alapján értékeli is azt, hogy szeretetre vágyó, érző lényként is kezelhető. Mivel van összehasonlítási alapja, ragaszkodik a jóhoz, és biztos, hogy aki ezt megadja, nem fog csalódni benne.

Metal is a neutered boy born in 2006, with a shoulder height of 70 cm and a weight of approximately 27 kg. He has a very beautiful build, and a commanding look. Quite probably, he is an Irish Setter and Caucasian Shepherd mix.
He got his name because of his past: with his three puli companions, whom their owner disappeared in the meantime, they guarded a scrap metal collecting facility, hanging on the chain. The three pulis were disappeared as the district clerk was to confiscate them: they were abandoned and left without food and water on the chain for more than eight (!!!) months. People from the neighbouring housing estate cared for them. The police was needed to found their owner.
Thanks to God, at least Metal broke his chain and broke free and thus with the police and the dog catcher he, as a “stray dog” could be caught and did not have to share the probably very sad faith of the other three.
Metal has a strong build. In the beginning he is very suspicious to strangers and makes no friends. He is an excellent guarding dog. Where he is on the other side of the fence, no trespassers shall enter. (this, and to be suspicious were his tasks in his life before us). It was strange for him in the beginning that humans are not all devils and they do not all want to scare or torture him, but can be good friends to play with, give food, and not only today but also tomorrow. One who gains his soul can make him (a Hungarian saying) melt as the butter on the bread. Then he will kiss that person all the time, become a cuddle and a jumpy and playful guy. He does not fight with other dogs, still we want to rehome him as the only dog of his future owner, as he is capable of anything for the owner and jealousy may be a problem. He has survived hell, and at us he realized that he can be treated as a living creature wanting to be loved and having feelings, such as happiness, sorrow and pain, and the first two feelings are honoured and the last never evoked. As he has a basis for comparison, he would like good things to last for ever and the person who will give him this good shall have a friend for all life who will never betray him.
